The Canadian Ski Council (CSC), in partnership with GreenStep, has announced the launch of the National Ski Industry Stewardship Program—a first-of-its-kind initiative to advance environmental, social, and economic sustainability across Canada’s ski sector. Through workshops, surveys, toolkits, and training, the program aims to equip ski areas with practical tools for stewardship, ensuring the industry remains resilient, sustainable, and thriving in a changing climate.
GreenStep and Canada’s Queer Chamber of Commerce (CQCC) have partnered to help tourism businesses across Canada become more inclusive and sustainable. Through this collaboration, GreenStep will promote CQCC’s Rainbow Registered accreditation, while CQCC encourages its network to engage with GreenStep’s Sustainable Tourism Pathway—creating a practical route for tourism organizations to strengthen inclusion, sustainability, and community impact.
