Sustainable and Regenerative Tourism Training Program: A TIAC READI Program Prerequisite
The Sustainable & Regenerative READI training is part of a suite of additional offerings under the TIAC READI Program, including Culinary and Agritourism READI, Export READI, Digital READI and Investor READI.
This program has been designed for destinations to purchase for cohorts of 8 to 12 tourism operators who are looking to take the next step in their sustainability journey. The comprehensive and engaging workshop series will guide participants through the essential steps of implementing sustainability best practices and a management system to achieve the TIAC READI Stamp.
Each workshop will include a combination of presentations, group work and individual work to create a high level of engagement and peer-to-peer learning, ensuring that participants leave with the knowledge and the tools to achieve each element of the Sustainable & Regenerative READI criteria.

The READI program, administered by the Tourism Association of Canada, is designed to support the growth and resilience of Canada’s tourism industry.
Learning Outcomes & Takeaways
By participating in and working through each of the sessions, participants will leave with the following:
Program Delivery
Participants will invest approximately 16 hours over 3 months. The program will be delivered virtually including live sessions, group workshops, self-paced homework and 1:1 support. In-person workshops are available at an additional cost. After successfully completing the program, operators will be prepared to meet the mandatory requirements of the READI assessment and to apply for the Sustainable & Regenerative READI Stamp.

Cohort of 8 Businesses
$21,500
Pricing includes all instruction and materials for a cohort of up to 8 businesses.
Additional Businesses
$1,350 each
For each additional business to a maximum of 12 businesses.
Optional On-Site Workshop
$5,500
Optional in-person group workshop. Travel expenses additional.
