Tourisme Montréal

Tourisme Montréal is a private, non-profit organization that has promoted the city for more than 100 years. The organization brings together over 1,000 members from across the tourism ecosystem and supports the coordination of initiatives that help shape the destination’s offer.

Aligned with the City’s priorities, Tourisme Montréal relies on this Strategy for More Sustainable Tourism that encourages the development of a destination that generates positive benefits for the local community and the environment.

It highlights actions related to resident–visitor coexistence, the promotion of responsible practices within the tourism ecosystem, support for business and sporting events, and contributions to Montréal’s socioeconomic vitality.
To support this work, Tourisme Montréal provides the industry with tools, training and guidance that help organizations gradually integrate these practices.
