Tourisme Montréal

Tourisme Montréal is a private, non-profit organization that has promoted the city for more than 100 years. With more than 1,000 members working directly or indirectly in the tourism industry, the organization plays a leading role in managing and developing Montreal’s tourism offerings.

In line with the City’s guidelines, Tourisme Montréal is building on its Strategy Towards a more Sustainable Tourism, which aims to encourage the development of a destination that has a positive impact on the community and the environment by 2030, to promote the harmonious coexistence of the local population and tourists, promote responsible tourism within its ecosystem, support the organization of environmentally friendly business and sporting events, and facilitate socio-economic benefits.

To support this work, Tourisme Montréal provides the industry with tools, training and guidance that help organizations gradually integrate these practices.
