Muskoka Steamships & Discovery Centre

Muskoka Steamships & Discovery Centre is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the culture and heritage of Canada’s Muskoka District. Founded in 1973, the organization offers a range of compelling, entertaining, and educational experiences, including steamship cruises, specialty events, and interactive exhibits at its Discovery Centre in Gravenhurst.

The Centre operates historic steamships, such as the RMS Segwun and Wanda III, providing visitors with unique opportunities to explore Muskoka’s rich history. In addition to cruises, the Discovery Centre features exhibits, educational programs, and events for all ages — including the newest exhibit, Love Muskoka, Sustain Muskoka — making it a key destination for both locals and tourists interested in the region’s heritage and natural beauty.
