ASTROLab is a museum and astronomy activity center located in the exceptional setting of Parc national du Mont-Mégantic, Quebec. It is dedicated to public education and discovery in astronomy, offering a range of immersive experiences such as daytime visits, astronomy evenings, and special events like the Perseids and the Astronomy Festival. The center features interactive exhibits, virtual reality activities, and educational films, including “Émergence: l’évolution cosmique,” which explores the evolution of the universe and life.
As part of the world’s first International Dark Sky Reserve, ASTROLab provides unique opportunities for stargazing and learning about the cosmos in an environment protected from light pollution. The center collaborates with several scientific and governmental partners and welcomes groups, schools, and the general public to explore the wonders of the universe through hands-on activities and guided presentations.
