MT LAB

MT Lab, founded in 2017 in Montreal, is a startup incubator and accelerator focused on driving innovation in the tourism, culture, and entertainment sectors. It was established as a joint initiative between the UQÀM School of Management, the City of Montréal, and Tourisme Montréal, and is recognized as the first incubator of its kind in North America dedicated to these industries. MT Lab acts as a bridge between startups and major industry players, fostering collaboration and supporting the development of innovative solutions.

The organization has played a significant role in positioning Montreal as a hub for tourism innovation, offering a range of programs, networking opportunities, and open innovation partnerships. MT Lab has also been involved in major collaborations, such as with the Port de Québec and the Palais des congrès de Montréal, and has received financial backing from both public and private partners to support its mission of transforming the tourism ecosystem through entrepreneurship and technology.
